Sorry for the delay, I've not been on these pages lately.
This is part of the problem I'm having with this family group -- dates just aren't matching.Benjamin Forrester's will was proved in court in 1801( Book D, pg. 23, Wills of Orange County, NC).In it, he lists James and Joseph Woods as executors. Benjamin and Sarah supposedly married in 1761 and she did not die until after he did.So, would he be married to Sarah Leathers in 1783? Or is this a different Benjamin? And would this be the same Sarah Leathers who married Zachariah Rhodes in 1829?(Probably not, but the families did know each other.)
The other discrepency I have not been able to resolve is that Milly was a younger daughter of this group according to the (admittedly scanty) information I can find.So if the other children are Sarah Woods' children, Milly should have been the eldest.
The Dossetts and Forresters are new lines for me, so I have not gathered much info yet. I'm hoping someone will jump in here and help me straighten this out.My main interest is with the daughter Jemimah at the moment.Unfortunately, I am in CA and do not have easy access to NC records.
