You were asking questions in another post about Titus G. Allen and Nancy Potter, now I find this post, so have to answer.Hiram Allen was the father of Titus G. Allen as far as anyone knows.Another son Isom B. Allen had a daughter, Lucy Ida Allen who married John E. Doster, who was the son of James R. "Raymond" Doster and Nancy Smith.
Then a son of Isom B. Allen's, Guy Wesley Allen married Bessie Irene Doster who was the daughter of John William Doster and Edna Pearl Parker.
Then there is a Henry Albert Doster who married Irena Belle Allen the daughter of William Thomas "W. T." Allen and Mary Jane Roberts.W. T. is also a son of Isom B. Allen and Doleska Cooley.
And if that isn't enough, Marcus Jesse Doster married Culer Mae "Teat" Allen another daughter of W. T. Allen.
I think all of these were in Jackson Co. GA at the time, although some did move to other areas.
Now, when we get to the Parkers, there is also a marriage between Robert Smith Parker and Cynthia Evelyn "Evie" Allen another daughter of Hiram Allen and half sister to Isom B. Allen.
Isom B. Allen's wife, Doleska Cooley was his stepsister!
I don't know how all these Dosters connect up, but am sure there is a very close connection as it seems the Allen siblings sure believed in marrying siblings of another family.
My line is another son of Hiram Allen's and Cynthia Wofford Cooley, Columbus H. Allen, b. 1843 Jackson Co. GA
I would love for you to contact me, so we can share information.
