I am not related, but received a copy of this article with other information and thought it might help someone here:
Western Republic Newspaper 10/17/1884 Boy Crushed
Tuesday George W. Doster, Jr, a 11 year old son of Mr. G.W. Doster, of the 28th district of Sumter County, was driving the mules, ginning cotton. He jumped up on one of the cross pieces that passed through the king post, and was caught under a bar that ran across the house and was crushed, on the right side and hip, to such an extent that his life is dispaired of. Dr. A. Bagley, we learn, attended him, said it was nearly impossible for him to recover. He was slightly better Friday.
