I need some help with the following lines. This is as much information as I have available to me at this time.
(1) Guillaume Doucette and Hortense Muise (2) Leslie Doucette (born November 3, 1936, in Amiraults Hill and died April 16, 2002 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital) and Claudette Amirault (d/o Paul Amirault and Angeline ------) (3) Howard Paul Doucette (born in Yarmouth on September 1, 1959) (4) Lesley Anne Doucette (born in Yarmouth on March 10, 1984)
My cousin Lesley Anne has Neimann-Pick disease, which is fatal. Like Lesley Anne, I also have connections to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. It is my understanding that the key Acadian couple associated with NPD-NS (Neimann-Pick Disease, Nova Scotia variety) is Joseph Mius dit d'Azy (s/o Philippe Mius d'Entremont dit d'Azy and his first Mi'kmaq spouse). Joseph is the grandson of the key progenitors of the Mius d'Entremeont line; none other than Philippe Mius d'Entremont and Madeleine Hélie who arrived in Acadie from Normandie, France, about 1651. I am eager to trace Lesley Anne's lines in order to see where our Doucet/Doucette and Mius/Muise lines merge. I would deeply appreciate any and all genealogical leads.
