Dougan's of Ballywillen near Coleraine Ireland

Some of my ancestors came from this family farm to the Cowichan Valley British Columbia via Australia during the gold rush days.Many brothers and cousins settled in the Cowichan Valley and a family tree was prepared based on a family bible perhaps.

James Dougan was born June 1st, 1837 in Ireland.He married Annie McGrath born July 12, 1846.There is a very large and detailed family tree descending from them in my possession.

James father was Arthur Dougan and his mother Jeanne.

He had brothers Richard, Martin, Joseph, and Robert.He had one sister named Annie Maria.I don't have dates of birth for any of them but they were all born in and around Ballywillen near Coleraine Ireland.

Arthur's father was Isaac Dougan Sr. and Arthur had a brother named Isaac of course.Some of that Issac's children also settled in the Cowichan Valley.

The oldest ancestor in this family tree is another James Dougan, again no dates or spouse name.This farm supposedly was in the Dougan family for many, many generations so a longer family tree may exist.Any help would be appreciated.
