Carol,
I am unable to help with your Alexander Douglass, but hope you can help us.Our Alexander Douglass married an Appleton and had three sons, Thomas Douglass I, Robert Douglass m. Lucy Stout, and William Douglass.
Alexander lived in Trenton NJ, his home there was where Washington called a council of war on Jan. 2nd, 1777.
His parents were John and Rachael Pearson Douglass.
