Chancery file 1805-027 shows that Margaret Downs bought 75 acres from Edward Radford, who had purchased the same parcel at a Sheriff's sale for taxes.At the time of sale the land was occupied by Robert Downs and John Hambleton [Hamilton].Adjoining landowners at time would have included John Billups, Charles Selby and Thomas Yuille.The land located somewhere on Spring Creek.
