Pam, I know the message you posted was a long time ago, but I hope you are still active with your genealogy and have the same email address.I was recently told that my 3rd great grandmother, Caroline Drescher who was born in 1828, was the daughter of your Johann Wilhelm Drescher. I have seen several lists of his children, never including a Caroline. Also, there is a daughter Wilhelmina that would be the same age. (Not sure if I'm remembering names correctly, it is not in front of me.)My Caroline immigrated in 1855, I think, and on the passenger list the family she is listed with is Jost and Marie Drescher. She and a Daniel Drescher are listed at the bottom of the family group, quite a bit older than the other children. I was thinking that Jost and Marie were maybe Aunt and Uncle or something. Do you have a tree somewhere online that I can look at it?She married, August Tranbald, then was widowed and married again to Henry Boettcher, my gg grandfather. I have a photo album that belonged to her daughter Lizzie Boettcher. Most of the pictures were not labeled, but there is a Henry Berghoffer and I imagine his wifes picture across from him. I think she is Wilhelmina Drescher, daughter of Johann Wilhelm Drescher. Does any of this make any sense?Kandie
