Herman Driggers.OUR TRIP TO HOLLY HILL SCDear Mary,Ruth,Margaret,Hester and Janie,Herman and Charles, Leon's family,Harvey and Vera, Eddie's children,Harvey had suggested we drive out toScott's grocery store. Here Mr. Scott would direct us to our best source of information concerning the cemetery where Uncle David's parents and your grandparents were buried.Mr. Scott was helpful. he sent us to a farm area to an elderly Mrs. Sweat who had known the Driggers family. She told us what she remembered. The oldest son Sam had preached in a little community churh there. Mrs. Sweat sent us beyond the churh to a main road. There we turned left and drove until we came to a house where the yard was full of pears - Mr.Preacher's home. this elderly gent offered to show us the area of the graveyard where his parents and where Robert and Electra Driggers were buried. Mr. Preacher asked us to stop at Mrs.Sweat where he would leave some medicine. We drove across an old field to the branch that was impassable. We looked across the branch upon a graveyard that had been closed 25 or 30 years but could not go in. However we were rewarded to at least know the place.Love and Blessings, Uncle David & Aunt RubyDoes anyone know anything about this old cem. in Holly Hill South Carolina or this family.
