Dear Don I have never been to the cem. The old letter that mentions the cem. was written by my husbands uncle James David Driggers about 1981. This Cem. is in Holly Hill Orangeburg County. The letter did not mention the name of the Cem. My husbands parents Sam & Cairrie Driggers did talk alot about Moncks corner. Robert and Electra died fairly young and Sam supposedly raised most of his younger brothers and sisters. I guess my husbands uncle James David was a small boy when his parents died and he did not know much about it and was trying to find his parents graves. Most of my husbands 1st cousins know less than he does about the family. Electra (Russell) Driggers was supposedly full Cherokee, Robert Driggers mother was supposedly Cherokee and his father was white. The old photos we have of Sam and his brothers you can really see the Indian blood high cheek bones and all. Sincerely Mary Driggers
