I'm not offended,but am simply suggesting that perhaps if black and indian Driggers sat down together,some of the mystery regarding the origins of the name could be figured out.Sure,I'm certain there are thousands who are pure Indians,but that doesn't mean that those who say they are indian and black don't have information that is pertinent to the entire discussion of Driggers genealogy.It is an interesting suggestion and I hope to see more discussion,academic as well as lay as to the true origin of the name.
