My husbands grandmother was Francis (Fanny) Duckwoth Munro Hicks (married twice.her father was, according to family legend a doctor and mother was irish.She moved to Australia from India following her daughters sometime in the late 1950's earlt 60's, and died feburary 1991.She was about 30 in 1928.But the Duckworth Munro women and notoriuously bad about dates (when in relation to there ages.Is Francis a posible link to your Indian Duckworth?Rumour has it that the family was from Armenia originally (mainly said to disguise the Angelo Indian blood).Cheers Pirkko
