my father, James Omer Dudgeon was born 23 March 1923 only surviving child of Nellie Bly Miskell Dudgeon married to Omer Kirkley Dudgeon, son of Richard Dudgeon, all of Boone County, KY (Beaver Lick & Walton).Omer had at least one brother, James Dudgeon, sisters Naomi, Mary, Kate, Grace (married a Baker of the Bakers who sold/donated Big Bone State Park's land--relatives buried in graveyard at top of hill by old home site). Many of family buried at Hughes Chapel cemetary outside Beaver Lick & Walton.I have a few photos of Omer& sisters, possibly other relatives that we can't name--received a large breadbox of old photos when my grandmother Nellie died. We believe Omer's father was in Civil War--no other details available as we have lost contact with Dudgeon "kin."We know my father has a cousin James Dudgeon who was in the Armyin late 50's, early 60's, discharged around 60-62 from service at Wildwood Station, Alaska.
