Jim Dudley, Ga.

I am starting to research my husbands family. His grandfather was Jim D. Dudley b.January 25, 1910 in Laurens or Emanuel County Ga.His father was also Jim Dudley.Jim D. had a brother named Carlos who left when his father married Molly Miller.The tale is that she was mean to him so as soon as reached the age of 16, he left and went north, the family never hearing from him again. Jim D. Dudley married Ida Pearl Stewart on September 28,1930 in Lovett Georgia.They were Members of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Brewton, Ga.Any info would be helpful.Thanks
