Just returned from a research trip to northeastern Indiana.Researched in Wells, Jay, Randolph and Blackford Counties.Found a cemetery listing for the Twibell Cemetery in Montpelier, Blackford County, IN listing Duffords.Buried in the cemetery were Henry and Margaret (Miller) Dufford (my fourth great-grandparents), Margaret's mother Margaret (?) Miller (my fifth great-grandmother); granddaughter and great-granddaughter, Amanda SARBER McGOWAN SMITH (my second great-grandmother), William Duffer son of Henry and Margaret (Miller) Dufford.Amanda's was buried by her first husband William McGOWAN (not my ancestor), as I was told she would be, by one of her granddaughters.I would like to say that finding this cemetery was the high-light of my trip, but I found so much information on this two and half-week trip that everything found was great. Would like to know the maiden name of Margaret (?) Miller the mother of Margaret (Miller) Dufford. Margaret Miller died 24 Oct 1870, age 94 years, 9 months 1 day, being born 23 Jan 1776.They all had legible tombstones, except Amanda Smith's was broken and was not as readable.
