I need to ask you to please remove Priscilla White's name as the wife of Walter Dulaney's son, Daniel Dulaney, b 1850, Annapolis, Maryland. This may have been my "big blunder" that caused it to be there.I once thought I have finally found the father of our Daniel Dulaney of Pendleton, South Carolina, and am afraid that I over reacted and excitedly posted it into the Genforum too quickly.I tried to have it removed a few days later but they did'nt do it.This is what happened.............a man wrote me a very "to the point" e-mail.He included several articles that proved my Daniel from Pendleton could not possibly have been the son of Walter Dulaney. It seems that this Daniel Dulaney, b 1750, had gone to England, two of his brothers were fighting for the Brittish and it was documented that they were hoping their brother would come back from London and join them. It seemed as though this Daniel was not married..Now back to the Daniel who married Priscilla White in South Carolina.... He was on the side of America in the Revolution and was given Bounty Land for his service. He never went to London and it is not known just where he died, but it was somewhere between Pendleton, S. C. and Alabama.Their youngest child, Priscilla,b 1799,was my gggrandmother. She married Rev, James Truss in Alabama, Their daughter, Marilda Truss, married James Lambert and became my great grandparents.Their oldest son, my grandfather's older brother, Uncle J. I. Lambert, lived near Priscilla in Ala. He was a soldier in the Civil War there, so was old enough to remember her before she died after 1850 in Benton (Now Calhoun Co.) Alabama. She was, I believe 1/2 Indian.Probably Cherokee, since they lived near the Cherokee towns.
