Elizabeth Ann Hall(4th child of Eli J. Hall and his wife Susan) b. ca. 1847 in Va., d. 29 June 1910 in Danville, Va., buried near her husband in Green Hill Cemetery, Danville, Va. (no stones to their graves but records of Green Hill Cemetery report their burials there) She m. by 1865 to John Henry Durham b. ca. 1837 in Va., d. 31 Mar 1902.In 1880, they were farming in the Dan River Magisterial District in southern Pittsylvania Co., Va.At that time they had 5 children.In 1900, they lived at 514 Claiborn St. in Danville, Va.John was then a weaver in the local cotton mill. When she died, Elizabeth lived at the home of her daughter Kate (Durham) Shorter on Keen Street inDanville, Va., per her obituary in a Danville newspaper.They had at least 8 children: Mollie, Fannie Bet, Alice, Kate Ann, Eliza A., Julia, James E., and John Anderson Durham.
