Randy J 2 DURHAM DNA GROUP AT FAMILYTREEDNA.COM
Does any Durham surname researcher have any ideas on what and where the connections are in the Randy J2 Durham surname Group???I would like to make contact with other Durham family researchers with a male family member who has done the Y-DNA test through FAMILYTREEDNA.COM in Houston, Texas, whose test kit number is listed in the Randy J2 Group on the Durham surname project pages.I have a definite documented line from Abraham Durham of St. Paul's Parish, Hanover County, Virginia, that was accepted for NSDAR membership. This Abraham Durham was born probably prior to 1760, moved to Wilkes Co., Ga., c. 1786 and d. 1826 in Clarke County, Georgia. His wife was Sally _?_ and his will named his children. My mother was a Durham.Kit #20392 is my mother's first cousin and kit #240202 is the grandson of my mother's brother.Does anyone have a documented paper trail before the Rev. War either into or out of St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., Virginia, or St. Paul's Parish, Hanover. When my mother's first cousin did the test a few years ago none of the contacts were this far back. Now with more kit #'s maybe someone else has made a connection among the group besides the DNA test.
