In the 1850 census in Sangamon County, Illinois, there is a Elizabeth Dutton, age 59, born CT (b. abt. 1791) listed in the household of Chas. Daugherty (Dougherty).
Can anyone identify this Elizabeth Dutton?I'm researching the Chas. Dougherty family, and I have no idea who this Elizabeth Dutton is or her relationship to the family.

She may be a relative, boarder, or employee.If she is a relative, assuming she is a widow, I'm very interested in her maiden name.
