Lydia Dutton's parents are Thomas (b. 5/1/1679 in England, son of John and Mary Dutton)and Lucy Barnard (b. 1681, daughter of Richard and Frances Barnard of Aston, "who were among the earliest settlers, and said to have come from Sheffield, England."Richard was Lydia's brother (there were other children as well, 9 altogether).
Lydia married William Hewes "6 mo. 30, 1739 at Chichester meeting...".He was the son of William and Mary of Chichester.It is not known whether or not they had children before she died in 1748.William apparently remarried as his will mentions his wife Rebecca and son Aaron.
