>>I think I learned somewhere that Jabez was Sarah's older brother???
Yes I have information from Judy (message 259) that Richard Duty and Elizabeth Thomas had 11 children, and Jabez was one of them.
>>Also living in the household in 1850 are:
Lucilla, 39
Sally, 24
Snethan, 15
George, 12
Sarah, 57>>
If Sarah was Willis Harris's wife, then her dob would be about 1793.DOes that jib with what else you know about her?
According to Thurston Hicks, Willis had 13 children.
Samuel is listed first and is probably already married.
2 - Lucilla never married and is still at home.
3-John Milton - I haven't been able to find any information about him.
4- Mary Eliza who married a Reid
5- Edward W. who was probably married by then
6-Harriet F. who married c 1829
7- Cicero - married c 1832
8- Adam Clark - married 1846
9- Sallie Irving - died unmarried
10 - Isabella Massilon who married in old age - evidently was not living at home in 1850 - she would have been about 23.
11- Bryan Pollock who died young
12- Snethen
13- George
