Am desperately seeking information on my father's side of the family.Recently did a search aand found an obit for a Vivien Duval Smiley, who died in June 1990.She was a sister of my grandmother, Muriel Pescatore (whose maiden name was Atwood so I guess they were half-sisters?).Text from obit is pasted below:

Obituary: VIVIEN DUVAL SMILEY, 68, of Oakland died Tuesday. She had co-owned Smiley's Taxi Service, Oakland. Surviving are two sons, Charles M. Jr. of Wayne and James H. of Ramona, Calif.;three brothers, Frank Atwood in New York, Ralph Duval of Wayne, and Arthur Duval of Paterson; three sisters, Mary Piccarrillo of Swampscott, Mass., Muriel Pescatore of Paramus [Note:Muriel died in 1999], and June Clark of Lake Elsinore, Calif., and four grandchildren. Her husband, Charles M. Sr., died in 1977. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Oakland Memorial Home, with burial in Ponds Reformed Church Cemetery, Oakland. Visiting is tonight from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
