Re: No response from Duvall Society

Hi Linda!
Looks as if we may be in same boat! I sent all I had at the time to include a check for membership!No response! I queried Mr. Barry Mckown (via snail and email) he was/is such a nice person.

So far in spite of all the society has of our findings, I have yet to become a member!!

I to have been invited to the boat trips, etc.. We even receive the quartly memos sent out. At least we made the mailing list!!

My thoughts were when we first contacted them with out findings they would go the extra step and confirm or deny our information.
Our "maybe" connecton is mentioned on pages 552, 553 of the book!!

Nope, not any help are advice was offered!

After more research we found a article published in 1927 by the Huguenot Society stating even more conclusive facts we are related! Sent, no response!!

We did finally receive a statement to the effect, we feel sure you are related but unless you can justify/prove we can only add you request to our assoc lists?

Our checks (2) were never cashed if that helps???

We keep hunting for more solid clues, perhaps one day??
