Thanks for the reply.Grant Parish is located west of Natchez, MS while StHelena is southeast of there.It is possible these Easleys are all related.Effie's father was William Frank Abel who was a lawman in Rapides Parish and was killed in the line of duty about 1881. Effie Abel married J. A. Easley in Grant Parish in 1897.I am trying to find her mother, Mary Blackwell Shirley Abel.Maybe some of the Easley's can help me solve this.
