I contacted you a number of years regarding the Easley/Kilpatrick line.I sent you a copy of the Will of John Kilpatrick of Craven Co, NC which listed the names of 4 brothers-in-law, Henry Turner, Aaron Grizzard, Thomas Carter, and Alexander Harper.The wives first names were not given but I have proven that Alexander Harper's wife was Margaret.It is possible that one of the other 3 was Elizabeth, the daughter of Elizabeth and Philip Martin. Both the Turner and Grizzard name appears in old Craven which became Dobbs but not Thomas Carter that I can find.Dobbs, now Lenoir and Greene are burned counties.Since Easley Kilpatrick, who appears to have been the eldest son, did not move to NC until 5 years after his father, it is entirely possible that Elizabeth Martin married and never left Va.The Kilpatricks purchased land from the Jones family in NC in two different places and two different generations so your mention of an Elizabeth Jones is interesting.

Alexander Kilpatrick had a Will, now lost, so we can't prove that all his children were by Elizabeth Easley Martin.

Warre Kilpatrick of Craven Co that you mention below was indeed the son of Alexander Kilpatrick. As to the others you mentioned, I have seen no connection to Alexander. Having said that, I can't prove all the children of Easley Kilpatrick other than Easley Jr and John and probably Rachel and all their children are not proven.John went to Darlington Co, SC and then the family spread south using the names Warre, Worry and Easley right up today.Easley was probably md 2 times and his widow had a son by one James Phillips long before Easley died. Nice scandal.

Mrs. Neuhauser did not descend from my Alexander but she would not tell me (many years ago) from whom she did descend.
