Eason and Milner - Jones County, Georgia

This was published in the Winter 2006 Georgia Genealogical Society Quarterly from "Divorces By The Georgia Legislature, Annotated"

"Parker Eason and Penelope Milner were married on November 19, 1818, in Jones County, Georgia. George Eason and Penelope were granted a divorce on December 30 1833. Acts...1833, pages 85-86. Penelope Milner and McCurdy Sparks were married on November 19 1835, in Jones County, Georgia."

We know that Parker Eason and Penelope Milner, b. 1800, were not divorced, because we can find them together in census records up to 1870.

But I have not been able to identify "George Eason." I have not been able to find a marriage record for him.

It is possible that the second Penelope Milner, b. 1814, was married to him, but again no records.

Does anyone have any idea who this George Eason was?
