I'm afraid I don't have a definitive answer either, but I have a little booklet handed down in my branch of the tree. This booklet on the Blessing Family doesn't say when it was written, but the latest date in it is 1916.So it had to have been written sometime after that date.It says, "Jacob Blessing, Jr., married Julia Easterday, a sister of Christian Easterday, in Germany, and at the same time and place Christian Easteday married his sister Julia Blessing near 1750.Jacob Blessing and Christian Easterday immigrated together with their young wives from Saxony, germany on the ship Anderson, with Capt. Hugh Campbell, from Rotterdam last Portsmouth, England; arrived at Philadelphia, registered, and took oath Sept. 30, 1752."Etc., etc.
