I have identical information about your Jacob Easterly, however I can not go back farther than he was born in 1750 in Moravia, PA. I show him with 156 descendants. I will be happy to trade with you. Your are welcome to what I have. Perhaps you might find something that will advance the data collection on this branch of the family.
He is the head of a branch of the family that I call a fragment branch because he can not be placed into the
"main" branch.
I feel sure he and his descendants belong within the main branch and that it is only a matter of time before
someone finds the linking data.
The main branch I am speaking of includes over 8000 entries as of this time. They are the descendants of Conrad Easterly, Jacob Easterly and George Easterly; three brothers who arrived in Philadelphia in 1738 and 1743.
George Easterly was widely believed to have died soon after entering this country, however, I have been succesful in verifying that he has currently living descendants, as well as descendants of the other two.
I am descended from the Conrad line.
Their names on the ship's manifests were recorded in the old german spelling, and much later changed to the current Easterly spelling.
I have been trying to link your Jacob to one of these three branches for years, with no luck yet.
