You are correct, George Eckert did have brothers two in fact.
The family came to the new world in Oct 1731. The 1st was Phillip Eckert the father of the boys. All of the boys were born here. 1st Peter born 4/29/1742 who married Catherine, 2nd. George born 1743 who married Elizabeth and
Lenhart born ? who married Catharine Beaker. The family lived in Leacock Twp. on Graffdale road. The orig. house is at the bottom of the hill on the left.
Both Peter & George fought and were Patriots for America. On the 5th of July 1775 both boys joined Capt. John Rolands Militia Co. part of the FlyingCamps. the battles they fought in were Long Iland, New York city, Trenton, andPrinceton.
