My great grandfather William Edmiston(b. 1875) was born in the parish of New Kilpatrick in Dumbartshire and moved to Lanarkshire at the age of 24. His father was James Edmistone.
My grandmother Rose Edmiston (b.1903) and her siblings Elizabeth Edmiston (b.1903) and James Edmiston(b.1905)were born in the county of Lanarkshire.
Could there be any relation?
