Yes I think you are correct in that I probably made a typo on that. Reuben Buckner Sr,b 1810, Married Miriam Kennedy, their son R.B, Jr Married Mary Jane Poss (my ggrandmother)1880. Their, oldest I think, son Joseph Benjamin was my grandfather b 1882. Now they also had another son named Reuben Buckner III who was born in 1893.
My father has no memory of this uncle, but does remember an uncle Jim (or James) Edmonds that lived around the Charleston SC area.
I think the question that many of us are pondering is who are the parents of this Reuben Buckner Edmonds Sr? I had thought maybe this John and Winifred Buckner, but from what I have read and heard in the past few days I think they may be his grandparents as opposed to his parents.
