I'm seeking the parents of Ascenath Dorcas Edmunds (or Edmonds?), who was born in 1807 in New Hampshire. According to the 1880 census, her parents were both born in Massachusetts.
Ascenath married John Nichols in 1827 and they lived at Crown Point, Essex County, New York. About 1836, they moved to Portage County, Ohio, and in about 1843 they moved to Quincy, Branch County, Michigan.
Ascenath may have been a sister to Stephen N. Edmunds who lived in Quincy, Michigan, Mason County, Michigan, and possibly in Steuben County, Ind.
