I can't provide immediate help, but the name Hester is a family name in my Edmundson line.As a matter of fact, my ggg grandmother was Hester Edmundson b. 1802 d. 1823 in Newberry Co., SC.I believe the name Hester originated in my Edmundson line with Hester's great grandmother Esther Underhill (1724 - 1783) who married Caleb Edmundson.The name Sarah also pops up in the line, but is obviously a very common name.

Just in case it should help, let me give you a descendancy tree for a William Edmundson who died in Chester, PA in about 1736.Note that this information came from someone else, and I have not yet sourced it.I can positively source that William had sons Caleb and Samuel, but have no information yet on the others.

If you're looking for straws to grasp at, perhaps your Sarah is the daughter of one of my Caleb's brothers.I'm digging into this Edmundson line as I type, so if I discover one of these Edmundson sons had a daughter Sarah, I'll post back here.
