Thank you so much Dorothy for your response to my e-mail. My great- grandfather was born in either Hooper's Creek, North Carolina, or the in the state of Tennessee. His mother's name was Sallie Hazel, and his middle name was Robert. He may have lived in or around Mills River, and in later years in Brickton. His wife was Gertrude. Thanks again.
