Hello folks,
Just tossing my hat in the ring.. I am wondering if anyone is missing an Ann Edney around 1690-1700 who may have been transported to the Northern Neck of Virginia in a Land Grant deal.
She would be the start of my family maternally in this country.I know for sure her first name was Ann, she married my Henry Tapscott about 1710, and her Oldest son born about 1713 was named Edney Tapscott. Ann died in 1773 after a second marraige.
Other than her sons name being Edney and carrying for 3 more generations I have no Proof of her last name. Also my Henry was most likely from Devon and arrived here in 1696 as an indentured servant on the William & Orion, captained by Bayliss.
