I am looking for additional info for Rachel Brown Leonard EDSON; born Apr 11, 1795, Seekonk, RI; married SHEPHERD EDSON Dec 24, 1793, Westmoreland, NH; widowed Dec 13, 1826; moved with children Almon Shepherd EDSON, Berilla Elizabeth EDSON and Emeline Winchester EDSON to southern Ohio in the 1830's; Rachel's second marriage to John Sargent, July 6, 1840, Higginsport, OH.Rachel died March 8, 1881, Alstead, NH at age 85.
I would love to find out why they decided to relocate to Ohio and how they made the trip. Also interesting would be details of Rachel's return to NH after living in Ohio.
