My husband is a descendant of John S. "Jack" Edwards.He is descended through Jack's daughter, Elizabeth, who married Elijah Knox.Elijah was killed at Vicksburg.His father was Elisha Knox from South Carolina.Wonder if he is related to Jack's wife, Edy?

Elizabeth and Elijah's daughter, Edie, married Duncan Lawrence Braziel and the family ended up in Coryell County, Texas.Elizabeth married Asa Shivers in !864 and they had a daughter, Annie.Elizabeth and Annie moved to Texas, but I don't know where Asa was.Elizabeth's brother, Henry "Hutcherson" Edwards ended up around Mexia, Texas, but I have not been able to find him anywhere.My mother-in-law remembers Hutch coming to their house outside of Gatesville, Texas and visiting, but she was very small and does not remember anything that would help.

Any further information you could pass on would be appreciated.
