Alert: The DAR is not exceptingany more applicants under the service record for James Edwards below. I have copied and pasted what the DAR states that must be done before any other applicants will be accepted on the Ancestor's number stated below. The DAR accepts the fact James Edwards fought in the French and Indian War as well as the American Revolution but they need documentation to prove that he is one and the same as the applicant's have stated in their lineage paper.
Can you help with the needed documentation???? I am working on a relative's application paper to the DAR and I need to prove his residency.
The documents that I know come from articles which is expectable if there is agreement as to his service and his residency 1) Edwards Family History by James T. Edward, DD (Have copy) 2) Mrs. Leah Blackman in her Egg Harbor (NJ) Sketch (Searching for a copy) 3) New Jersey Courier, Feb 11,1971 article (Searching for a copy)
I am Lavonne Kennedy Bradfield
