The source for Moses is a baptism record in the Trinity Lutheran Church records of Reading, Berks County under EURICH, Moses parents Georg & Elizabeth b. 22 Sept, 1822 bapt 10 Dec., 1822 sponsers Joahn Fischer and Maria Kantner. No, Georg did not die in 1818.All I have been able to find is sometime after 1830.He and wife Elizabeth were recorded as sponsers for grandson Isaac's baptism on page 140 of St John's (Hains) Reformed Church baptism records. It says "24 Jan, 1830 - Isaac, son of George and Sarah, born 26 December, 1829.Sponsors, George Eirich and Elizabeth, Grandparents."There is no death or will/estate information on file in Berks County that I have found. There seems to be some confusion with researchers of this George Eirich. There were 2 George Eirichs in Berks County around the same time. One married Anna Maria Sohl and died 14 March, 1784, there are at least 3 proven documents with this information. The second married Anna Margaretha Deck (Dock) and died around 1818.It is his will/estate information that is on file in Berks County.
George and Anna Maria had children:1. Anna Maria b. 1771. 2.Johan Georg Jr. b.1773.
3. Johannes, b. 1774 died 1776. 4. Johannes (John) b. 1776. and Susanna. b. 1779.
Hope this helps.
Karen
