BEDFORD - Mary Jean Endris, 61, 1820 G Street, Bedford, died Sunday at her residence.
Born Sept. 7, 1944, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Otto and Marie (Gates) Endris.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford and was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul School.
Survivors include one brother, Daniel “Dean” Endris, Indianapolis; one brother-in-law, Joe Johnson, Bedford; three sisters-in-law, Pat Endris, Janet Endris and Joan Endris Edwards, all of Bedford; nephews, Thomas Endris, Danny Endris, Stan Endris and wife Cindy, Steve Endris and wife Mary, Jon Endris, Greg Endris and wife Michelle, Mark Endris, Brad Endris and wife Shannon, Chris Johnson and wife Frances, Jim Johnson and wife Courtney and Marty Endris and wife Shannon; nieces, Jackie Robbins and husband Kevin, Donna Gorge and husband Darin, Bev Saunders and husband Paul, Dana Sasser and husband Adam, Mindy Endris Lingo and husband Craig, Marcy Volz and husband David and Janice Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Donald Endris, Joseph Endris, John “Jack” Endris, and James Endris; and one sister, Teresa Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford with Father Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford. A Rosary service will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mary Jean can be remembered most for her dedication and service to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She looked forward to the times that she spent with her family and friends. Her genuine kindness and appreciation of life will be missed by all.
