We are related.My great-great-great-great grandparents were John & Johanna.Ellen was obviously my great-great-great aunt.She had a sister and two brothers, Mary, Andrew & James.James was my great-great-great grandfather and he married a Mary Furlong.Their daughter Johanna (b.1871) married John Hickey at Kogarah in 1897 and they had at least one daughter named Mary Evaline (b.1898).Mary married John O'Connor in Wollongong in 1921.They had two children, Beryl who died in the year of birth (1924) and John (b.1925).John (Jack), my father, married Bernadette Searle and they had five children of whom I am the youngest.My mother Bernadette is the proud owner of 5 children, 17 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.All in all, you and I are third cousins, once removed.I also went to school with a Jones from Orange in Sydney in the early 70's.Wonder if he is related also. Would love to get any other info you have on your family tree.I have all mine in the Brothers Keeper genealogy program and am happy to export it to a gedcom file.
