If info is correct on military records, my James N. English enlisted 1861 in Spaulding, GA as Confederate.The first time I find him is in TX 1870 in Starrville, Smith Cnty, TX.I have not located him in 1900 census but did locate him in 1880 Gainesville, TX and 1910 Dallas Cnty,TX.
