TO: bsteph -- Thanks for this information. And about your being a descendant of Obadiah Epps. But which Obadiah? One Obadiah was born in TN in 1812 and was married to Delila. The other Obadiah was married to a lady named Missouri. He was a twin brother of my great grandfather, Carroll Epps.
TO: Mel Epps and Charles Hood. This fills in a chink of data about Martin Epps and his son Martin A.I found a marriage record from Butler County, Mo, with the date of the second marriage of Rev. Martin Epps to Mrs. Sary AnnSmith on 12 July 1859.This means that Martin A. Epps and Issac P. (or D.) Epps were the offspring of this marriage.
Issac was born in TX.Were there other children born to Martin and Sara Ann?Can anyone connect this dot?
Paul Epps, Florissant, MO.
