I have a thick genealogy book titles The Epps Connection by Kathy Dodge Loyd.It is mainly about the South Carolina Epps lines and has lots of Readon's and Harrington's in the book. The book was published in 2004 by Willow Bend Books and contains 524 pages.John James Reardon married Margaret Eppes in 28 feb. 1828. He is b. 20 Dec 1804 in Sumter Co. S. Carolina and Margaret is b. 10 Oct 1800 Williamsburg, South Carolina. He d. 1880 and she d. 09 Aug 1870. Their children are: Daniel and John James JrSince this is your line you should order the book. It is full of the Epps-Readon-Harrington.The book refers to a Fowler Margaret Olga Gretrude Harrington who married Thomas Walling Epps and they had Margaret Gertrude Epps b 30 Nov 1909 Kingtree. My mother married an Epps and lives in Greenville, S.C. but we are not connected at present to the multitudes of S.C. Epps. My brother Ken Epps teaches school in Greenville and live at Travelers Rest. My line came from North Carolina and then Tenn. and then Texas. I have been trying to see if there is a connection somewhere to the S.C. Epps.I have a friend here in Texas who is Steve Epps that came from South Carolina. He was from Navy people and his father helped found the Berea Baptist Church in S. C.
