WILLIAM EPPS - born 1927 - UK

I am searching for anyone who has any information about my father William Epps who was born in London in March 1927.He was raised by a foster mother in Saffron-on-Walden until he was about 9 or 10 and was then placed back into the Thomas Coram Foundling Home in London. Searches for his real family (Lyons) have failed to produce a thing.
