parents of Charles and Elizabeth Epps

I am trying to get more information about my gr'grand-mother, Elizabeth Martin Epps (1844-1920). She had a brother Charles Epps who was in the Virginia Militia during the War Between the States; I believe that he was born around 1840. But I do not know their parents' names. My grandmother had a copy of a book on Francis Epps and his descendants which has come down to me but I cannot find out anything about this line of Epps from it. The family lived in Richmond at the time of the War and at least some family members ('Cousin Florence', 'Cousin Bayless', and 'Cousin Charlotte') continued to do so in the 20s and 30s. Any information that anyone might have on this line of Epps would be gratefully appreciated!
