I did the research on Lawrence Epps Family in the 1980/90's at Library; using USA Census, Lincoln Co., TN marriage listings etc.I was short on information on the girls and did not have the son Pleasant listed; therefore his son Pleasant was not with the correct father.I mailed it off to Epps Society in Petersburg, VA ca. 1995 for consideration in the Descendants of Francis Epes I.It was not used because we have not figured if he was with Pleasant Epps, Joshua Epps, John Epps, William Epps, or Richard Epps.All who had descendant in TNbetween 1790 - 1850.

Now if you can not tell us where there is another Lawrence F. Epps you need to considered your ?Grandfather had a first wife Mary Mason that you were not aware of, as well as, another son born in 1867.
