I am just starting to research my family. My Grandfather was in Essex Co. Va. named Matthew Epps. My Father the second son was named Newton Morton. He(my Father) was born in Florence N.J. The birth year I have so far for my Grandfather is 1870.He married Hattie Chatman. I hope to have more info later. My grandfather had a farm in Essex Co. in Supply Va.
