epsteins of omaha, NE

I am beginning a search of my mother-in-law's family. We believe that Alec and Ida Epstein immigrated with 4 children (Harry, Maury, Libby, Sam) from Russia via Galveston, TX in the early 1900s. They settled in Omaha, NE, where two more children were born (Edith b. 1917 and Aaron). Edith married Albert Goldstein of NJ. They had Ina, Michelle, Harriet, Alice, and Sharon. Ina is my mother-in-law.

We think that Ida's maiden name began with an R. We are trying to learn more, possibly where they came from in Russia, etc. Any help would be great!
