Re: Equi's from Coreglia

Dear Mary, don't know if there is any coinnection, but here goes: My great grandfather was Antonio Equi from Coreglia. As far as I know he went to America in late 1800, got married, divorced and returned to Barga sometime at the end of the century. He re-married with Eufemia Gonnella, and had 5 children, Vittoria, Emilia, Lorenza, Giovanni and Teresa, who was my grandmother. My grandmother, who was the fourth child, was born in 1901.That is as far as I know for the moment, but am looking into it.
